Graphite Paper of Good Quality

Graphite paper is a kind of graphite foil formed by chemical treatment of natural graphite flakes, heating to form graphite worms and multistage rolling. The density of such graphite powder is about 0.003g/cc. Then flexible graphite coils are formed by rolling, which does not contain binder or packing. It has high purity, good corrosion resistance, radioactivity resistance, high/low temperature resistance, good compression resilience, self-lubrication and impermeability of low pressure seals.

Characteristics of graphite paper of good quality:

● Excellent heat resistance and cold resistance. - Flexible graphite has little change in physical properties at -270~3650℃ (in a non-oxidizing gas), and can be used in air at up to 450℃ ;

● Excellent chemical resistance. Flexible graphite is resistant to almost all inorganic and organic media except being corroded in aqua regia, concentrated nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid as well as high temperature dichromate, potassium permanganate, ferric chloride and other strong oxidizing media.

● Good self-lubrication. Similar to natural graphite, the flexible graphite slides easily under external force of interlamination. It has characteristics of lubrication, good wear resistance and small friction coefficient.

Applications of graphite paper:

●  It can be used as the material of graphite packing ring.

● It can be compounded with metal plate and cut into gaskets of various shapes.

● It is directly used to make various low pressure gaskets or high temperature insulation gaskets after processing into thick sheets.

Regular specifications of graphite paper:

The width is 1000 mm or 1500 mm, the length of coil is 3050 mm, the thickness of coil is 1000 mm or 1500 mm, the thickness of coil is 0.15-1.0 mm, and the thickness of coil is 1.0 mm-5 mm;
